Kutztown Rugby

The Internet magazine, American Rugby News, has published it’s 2010 Division One, All-American list.  Kutztown University has once again been honored with two recipients .  They are senior Dave Kornock and Sophomore Tim Acker.           

Dave Kornock from Lansdale, Pennsylvania, is the Golden Bear’s Vice-Captain and plays strong side Flanker and Eighth Man. He is renowned for his superior athletic ability and ball sense. One of the most gifted athletes to ever done the Kutztown jumper, Dave is a stalwart in Kutztown’s equation for success.  He is also one of the most prolific goal kickers in Kutztown history.

Tim Acker wears number fifteen and patrols the Golden Bear secondary as one of the most dangerous Fullbacks in the collegiate game today.  Week in and week out, he electrifies spectators with his uncanny ability to swerve through the opposition’s defense. A native of Doylestown, Pennsylvania, Tim is one of the brightest young stars to grace the hallowed grounds of Lunckenbill Avenue.
